Geoff Elvee- Hardships, hard work, and hero's have always been key subjects in country music but in the rugged working hands of Geoff Elvee these topics are eloquently transformed into first rate songs written or co-written by this established country musician. A Native of St. Peter, Minnesota, he left the farm in his mid 20s traveling through out the western states playing with pick up bands, performing solo shows and working construction sites along the way. Hard knocks seem to follow him on his journey including a construction accident nearly severing off his left hand from his arm, after many pain staking years and a will to overcome Elvee had to re-learn how to play the guitar to the ability left to him all the while continuing to work in the trades and performing live shows. He eventually moved back to Minnesota where he co-produced and released his first and second albums " It's About Time" and " Big Wheels" all original songs he had been writing and co-writing over the years. Elvee has been performing for 20 yrs both regionally and nationally with a cast of top notch professional musicians. Elvee splits his time living in Colorado and Minnesota but travels through out the country to perform when opportunities arise. Elvee's third album " Crazy In The Heart" was released in August of 2019, with music style ranging from traditional country/modern country/ rock / ameracana and acoustic...you can expect to hear music the way it was meant to be performed with heart, soul and personality, you will have a memorable experience of a genuine American singer/songwriter and also hear songs of his musical idols, influences and stories behind the music. In this day and age of tribute concerts Elvee could think of only one singer/songwriter that he would be happy to bring back to life and that would be a Chris LeDoux tribute show (upon request). Elvee also has been involved with producing and performing veteran military appreciation charity concerts that have provided a venue for vets and their families to have a good time and to raise awareness to there causes.
